Music Policies and Procedures

TUITION:  Enrollment in the Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet and Music is based on a 36 week school year. Accordingly,  9 equal tuition installments due 5th of each month regardless of the number of lessons in a particular month.  No tuition deduction or allowance shall be made by reason of the absence, withdrawal, suspension, or dismissal of the student.

MONTHLY TUITION: 1st payment & registration fee will be debited from your account fee the next business day after you enroll.  Following payment for dance and music students will due 5th of each month from October – May.

No tuition deduction or allowance shall be made by reason of the absence, withdrawal, suspension, or dismissal of the student. Tuition is not transferable and is non-refundable unless withdrawal is due to prolonged illness or injury verified by a doctor's certificate.

PAYMENT BY AUTOMATIC BANK ACCOUNT DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD CHARGE :  Tuition will be debited from your bank account or charged to your credit card upon registration for the first month of lessons and on the 5th day of each month thereafter through May.  The first month is non-refundable.   Payment must be made by pre-authorized automatic monthly payment.   All NSF returns will be charged a $20 NSF fee.  Only regular monthly fees may be paid by auto-debit or credit card.

REGISTRATION: A non-refundable fee of $30 per family is required yearly at time of registration.

WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS:  There is a two-month minimum for all lessons. Withdrawals for the months of September through April must occur by the 15th of the month. No withdrawals will be accepted after May 1.   Withdrawal by emailing registrar@tricitiesacademy.com by the 15th of the month.  Withdrawals will not be accepted over the phone.   All automatic bank debiting or credit card charges will stop after the one-month notice period. Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet and Music reserves the right to terminate lessons to any students without notice. 

MISSED LESSONS AND MAKE-UP LESSONS: 
For MUSIC students, no make-up lessons will be given for missed lessons unless absence is due to serious illness and 24 hour notice has been given to the school office.  Make-up lessons will be limited to 2 per teaching year.  No refunds are given for missed lessons.

SUBSTITUTIONS:  Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet and Music reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regularly scheduled teacher is ill or otherwise unable to attend a lesson.  If a teacher is ill and the school cannot arrange a substitute any missed lessons will be made up.
